How to Delete Comments from the Guestbook

Hosts can remove guestbook comments before, during or after an event.

1. Sign in to the EventLive app or Broadcaster Console and open your event.
2. Open Guestbook or the messaging section.
3. Find the comment, choose its trash/delete control and confirm.

Can a guest delete a comment?

A guest can also delete their own comment when the event page recognizes the same registered guest. This does not let them remove other guests’ comments. If their delete control is missing, they can ask the host to remove the message.

Changing a message

There is no direct edit control for posted guestbook messages. Remove the old message and post a corrected one if needed. Hosts can use the same approach for pinned messages.
