Made for your PC

Switch cameras without a blink

Use your laptop’s camera, USB webcams or a camera on a USB HDMI capture device, even one you plug in while you’re live. The strip shows every camera live and keeps them running, so a click switches instantly. If a camera stops, EventLive switches to another one by itself.

Works with external cameras and microphones

Plug in a USB webcam or an HDMI camera through a capture card, and a USB microphone, a wireless mic kit such as DJI Mic, or an audio interface. Pick them in the Studio and switch while you’re live. A Surface or a laptop, a camera on a small tripod and a clip-on mic make a setup that fits in a bag.

Show pictures, videos, PDFs and PowerPoint

The last tile in the strip adds pictures, videos, PDFs and PowerPoint decks, and you switch to each one like a camera. While a video with sound is on air, viewers hear the video instead of your microphone. Turn on Loop to start a video again each time it ends, for a countdown or a slideshow. Pause a video, go back to the start or turn pages from a bar over the preview that viewers don’t see, or with the keyboard.

Share your screen

Show an entire screen or one window, such as a web page or another app, to everyone watching. The whole picture is shown, never cropped, and one click takes you back to your camera. While you’re live in another app, a small window stays on top with the picture, and it never appears in what you share.

Good sound, a steady stream and a backup copy

Choose any microphone

Follow your PC's sound setting or pick any USB microphone or audio interface, even while live. A level meter and a mute button are always in view.

Steady on any connection

EventLive watches your upload and adjusts the picture as your connection changes, so guests keep watching instead of buffering. If the connection drops, it reconnects by itself, and your PC and its screen stay awake until you stop.

A backup copy on your PC

Record a high-quality copy to Videos › EventLive while you stream, as an MP4 you can play and skip through. It keeps recording even if the internet drops.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The app is free to download. You pay for events the same way as in the phone apps and on the website, and you can always run a free test first. See pricing.
Click More info, then Run anyway. Windows shows this because the EventLive installer isn't code-signed yet. Download EventLive only from eventlive.pro.
No. EventLive installs for your Windows account, with nothing else to install. The one exception is a Windows 10 PC without Microsoft's WebView2 (Windows 11 always has it, and so do most Windows 10 PCs): Setup then installs it from Microsoft, and that step may ask for an administrator's permission once.
No. Open your event, choose This PC and press Start. If you prefer OBS, a hardware encoder or another RTMP app, those still work: see how to go live using RTMP.
There is a version made for ARM PCs. In Edge or Chrome on an ARM PC, the download button gives you that version. In another browser, use the ARM download.
Yes, through a USB HDMI capture device such as a Cam Link, or with a camera that works as a USB webcam. Turn on clean HDMI output on the camera first: see how to enable HDMI output.
EventLive lowers the picture quality to match your connection and raises it again when the connection recovers, so viewers keep watching. If the connection drops, it reconnects by itself. Keep the backup copy on to have a full-quality copy on your PC.
No. While you're live, EventLive keeps your PC and its screen awake. Closing a laptop's lid or pressing the power button still puts it to sleep, so keep the lid open and the charger plugged in.
Yes. The last tile in the strip adds a picture, a video, a PDF or a PowerPoint deck, and you switch to it like a camera. While a video with sound is on air, viewers hear the video instead of your microphone, and Loop starts it again each time it ends. Share Screen shows an entire screen or one window, without your PC's sound for now.
Yes. Add the deck (PPT, PPTX, PPS or PPSX, or ODP) from the last tile in the strip. EventLive uses PowerPoint on your PC to turn it into slides you go through like PDF pages. The first time takes a few seconds; the same deck reopens at once. LibreOffice works if there's no PowerPoint; with neither, save the deck as a PDF. Animations, transitions and videos inside slides don't carry over: for those, share the PowerPoint window.
Yes. When you switch to another app or minimize the Studio while you're live, a small window stays on top with the picture, LIVE (or TEST) and the time, REC and Muted. Click it to go back to the Studio, or drag it out of the way. It never appears in a screen share.
EventLive for Windows checks for updates when it starts and once a day, downloads them in the background and installs them when you close it. It never updates while you're live.
Yes. On a Mac, use EventLive for Mac.
Yes. Use the EventLive app on an iPhone or Android phone. Your account and events are the same on your phone, your PC and the website.
