How to Access and Download Livestream Recording After the Event

Hosts can download a recording once the event and file are ready.

Download the online recording

1. Sign in to the EventLive app or Broadcaster Console with the host account.
2. Open the event.
3. When shown, choose Download & View Stats, then the video download.
4. Save the file and check that it plays correctly.

Availability depends on event status and processing. A fixed 24-hour waiting period does not apply to every event.

Check for a local backup

The native EventLive app may save a local recording on the broadcasting device. Local recording can fail, including when storage is insufficient, even while the livestream continues. Check the recording indicator during your test.

• iPhone/iPad: check Photos. If the recording could not be copied there, check Files → On My iPhone/iPad → EventLive.
• Android: check the Gallery/video library. Recordings may also be in the EventLive app’s files; access depends on Android version and device. Ask support if you cannot locate them.
• OBS or another encoder: enable and check local recording in that software or device.

Replay and storage

Eligible viewers can watch at the original event link when replay is enabled. Online availability follows the event’s storage and expiry, not always one year. Download important recordings before expiry.
