How To Embed EventLive Streams on Your Website
Julia EskinUpdated EventLive provides embed options for paid events, so you can add the event page or video player to a website that accepts iframe HTML.
- Sign in to the Broadcaster Console and open your event.
- Open Embed.
- Choose the available layout and options, then copy the generated code.
- Paste the code into your website’s HTML/embed block and publish your page.
- Open that page as a viewer and test both playback and any access prompts.
Generating an embed does not remove the event’s publication, password, invitation or ticket requirements. Use the same event’s viewer link to check access if the embed does not work.
Testing
Free test events cannot currently be embedded. Use the free test event’s viewer link to check your camera, audio and streaming connection. To test the website embed, use your paid event’s embed code and confirm the page layout and access requirements before the event.
Website restrictions
Some website builders restrict custom HTML or iframe embeds. If your plan or page type does not allow them, add a button linking to the EventLive event page instead. For full-page layouts, check how the guestbook and video fit on a phone as well as a computer.
