YouthStream: Adding co-admins to your team

Julia EskinUpdated

Co-admins stream and manage your games from their own phones, with their own sign-in. They use your account's subscription.

Invite a co-admin

  1. Open Profile and tap Invite User under Account Sharing.
  2. Enter their email address and tap Send Invite.

We email them an invite from YouthStream ("… added you to their team on YouthStream"). Share invite lets you send the invite text yourself as well. Invites expire after 14 days.

Accept an invite

Either way works:

  • Get YouthStream and sign in with the email address the invite went to. You join the team automatically.
  • Or open the link in the invite email on your iPhone. It starts with www.streamyouthsports.com/open/invite/ and works with any YouthStream account.

If you use Sign in with Apple and Apple hides your email address, your sign-in won't match the invite. Open the link from the email instead, or sign in with your email.

Manage the team

The account owner and every co-admin can manage the team in Profile → Account Sharing:

  • Pending marks invites nobody has accepted yet. Resend emails an invite again, and older links then stop working.
  • The red ✕ removes a co-admin or cancels an invite.

To leave a team, ask the owner or another co-admin to remove you.

Switch between accounts

If you're in more than one account (your own and a team's), Team account at the top of Profile switches between My account and the team. New games go into the account that's selected.

Subscriptions in a team

A subscription bought in a team account belongs to the account owner and covers the whole team. Apple bills the Apple ID that bought it. Co-admins don't need a subscription of their own.
