Which Languages Does the EventLive App Support?
The EventLive app shows in your phone's, computer's or browser's language when it speaks it. There's nothing to set up, and you can choose another language at any time.
Supported languages
| Language | In the app |
|---|---|
| English | English |
| Spanish (Mexico and Latin America) | Español (México) |
| Spanish (Spain) | Español (España) |
| German | Deutsch |
| French | Français |
| Dutch | Nederlands |
| Polish | Polski |
| Portuguese (Brazil) | Português (Brasil) |
| Portuguese (Portugal) | Português (Portugal) |
| Japanese | 日本語 |
Any Spanish outside Spain gets the Latin American version. Portuguese set to Brazil gets the Brazilian version, and Portuguese from anywhere else (Portugal, Angola, Mozambique…) the European one. If your device's language isn't on the list, the app shows in English.
The whole app follows the language: the event screens, tickets and payments, the camera screen you go live from on your phone, the Studio window of EventLive for Mac and for Windows, and the iPhone and Android permission prompts.
Choose a different language
- Open Profile.
- Tap Language.
- Choose a language, or Automatic to follow your device again.
The app reloads in the language you chose. On an iPhone, the camera screen and the system prompts switch the next time you open the app.
On the web you can also add ?lang= to the app's address, for example https://broadcaster.eventlive.pro/?lang=de for German (es-MX, es-ES, de, fr, nl, pl, pt-BR, pt-PT, ja or en). The browser remembers it.
Good to know
- Your guests see your event page in their own language, whatever language you use. See Which Languages Do Event Pages Support?
- EventLive doesn't translate what you write: event titles and descriptions, room names and guestbook messages appear as you entered them.
- Emails from EventLive and this Help Center are in English for now.
