No, the viewers only need to open the link you are sending to them. No apps or downloads needed. The viewers can open the link in any browser. The private links are not appearing in Google Search results. Please note that the people who you're sharing the link with can share it with someone else.
Yes! The video will be recorded on our servers and you will be able to download it after the event.
You can begin streaming one hour before the event start time. We usually recommend to start the stream 10-15 minutes before the event, to give everyone a chance to join in. Once you start streaming your special event, the guests that subscribed for reminders will receive an email notification and will be able to watch the event at the private link.
Yes! You can send the link to download the app and your login information to someone else and they can stream the event for you.
From the event start time, streaming is available for 24 hours. You can stop the stream and start again as many times as you'd like. Your guests will receive a notification that you're live again! So for wedding you can stream the ceremony, then stop and stream the speeches and the first dance, or other parts of reception.
When your viewers visit your live stream link they get an option to "Get Reminders". They can then leave their email address to get notified when you go LIVE. Automatic reminders will also be sent out by our system 1 day, 1 hour and 15 minutes before your event to everyone who signs up for reminders.
EventLive app is designed to be used on Android or Apple devices. If you want to use a different gear (DSLR, Laptop, Webcam, etc.), we will provide RTMP link for your event. If you have a photographer or videographer, simply ask them to assist you with your tripod. They will know a good place to put it. You can also designate a family member or a friend to place it for you. If you're all by yourself, just set up before the ceremony and turn the streaming on!
