Want to share your wedding with a remote loved one? Learn how to setup live stream for wedding in this step-by-step guide. You'll need:
Get "eventlive" app in the App Store. In the app, create an account with your name and email address. We need this information to provide the best user experience and support.
In order to publish the event, you need to purchase special event live streaming (through iPhone in-app purchases). You can also test before you buy it.
Now that your event link is created, share it using the "Share Link" button. Choose the way you want to share:
Share the link with as many people as you like. Learn more about viewer experience.
EventLive lets you test live stream for free as many times as you like. Try the internet connection by the ceremony site by launching the app and doing a test stream.
Try once with WiFi and wireless data, so you know ahead which option is more stable.
If you have a photographer or videographer, simply ask them to assist you with your tripod. They will know a good place to put it. You can also designate a family member or a friend to place it for you. If you're all by yourself, just set up before the ceremony and turn the streaming on!
Charge your phone and free up a few GB of space to save the recording. Make sure your phone's camera is clean.
Start the streaming 10 - 15 minutes before the ceremony start, to give everyone a chance to join. Keep it going after, or turn off the stream and restart at reception for speeches, first dances and other moments.
Check your streaming web link to see comments from your guests! The video will stay online for a year. The high-quality video will be kept in your phone's Gallery.
Anyone with the link immediately has access to the wedding. It doesn't require them to enter a password or create an account. The private links are not appearing in Google Search results. Please note that the people who you're sharing the link with can share it with someone else.
When your guests visit the link they see the date and time of the event, and how much time is left until the start. They can click "Get reminders" button and leave their email address to opt-in for reminders. They can also leave messages in your event's guestbook.
Your guests will be notified a day before the start time, an hour before, 15 minutes before and as soon as the event starts.
If you re-start the stream during the day they will receive a notification that you've started streaming again. This is handy if you want to stop broadcast after the ceremony and restart for speeches or the first dance.
