Adding links to an event serves multiple purposes.
Amongst the most important ones, you can use them for:
- Gift Registry
- Donation Campaigns
- Other types of Charity
- Venmo / Cash app
- Event Website
- Business Website
- Social Media channels
How to Add Links to a Virtual Event
It won't take more than 30 seconds.
- Open EventLive App. If you're on a computer, open the Broadcaster instead.
- On your Scheduled Events page, choose your Event.
- Tap on "Event Settings"
- At the bottom of the page, you will see the "Add Link" button. Press on it.
- Add a Link Name and then a Link URL.
- Save the changes. Done.
You can add links for any type of events. I will list the most common uses for them, depending on your Event Type.
For Wedding Couples:
You can add gift registry links, your wedding website, and any other type of program you want your virtual guests to have access to.
If you are collecting monetary gifts, you can also share your Venmo or Cash app links.
For Funerals & Memorials:
Add "Send Flowers" or "Donation" links. You can also add links to plant a tree, or to any other tributes the deceased might have.
For Family-Related Events:
Add the event program, charities to donate to, or any other piece of information that might be relevant to virtual guests.
For Business Owners:
Use Event Links to add your social media channels or any piece of information that might be relevant to the virtual event attendees.
You can also add your own website for self-promoting purposes. We do recommend that you add your logo to the top of the page instead, which already includes a link back to your website.
