# YouthStream: Signing in with Apple or an email code

> Sign in to YouthStream with Apple, or with a 6-digit code we email you. What to do if the code doesn't arrive.

YouthStream has two ways to sign in: **Sign in with Apple**, or **Sign in with Email**, which emails you a 6-digit code. There's no password.

## Sign in with an email code

1. Tap **Sign in with Email**, type your email address and tap **Continue**.
2. We email you a 6-digit code from YouthStream. The subject reads "… is your YouthStream sign-in code".
3. Type the code on the **Enter the code** screen, and you're signed in.

A code works for 10 minutes and for 3 tries. After that, tap **Start again** to get a new one.

## The code didn't arrive

- Check your spam, junk and promotions folders, and search your mail for "YouthStream".
- Check the address on the code screen: it shows where we sent the code.
- Wait 30 seconds and tap **Resend code**. Only the newest code works.

You can get up to 3 codes in 15 minutes and 10 a day. If you reach the limit, the app tells you when to try again. Sign in with Apple works in the meantime.

## Old sign-in links

Versions 1.5 and earlier emailed a sign-in link instead of a code. Those links no longer work. Update YouthStream in the App Store, then use **Sign in with Email** again.

## Sign in the same way each time

Your games belong to the account you sign in with. If you used **Sign in with Apple** before, use it again, even if Apple hid your email address. Signing in with a different Apple ID or email address opens a different, empty account.
