# YouthStream: Streaming quality and screen settings

YouthStream's settings are in the iPhone Settings app, under **Settings → Apps → YouthStream**. On older iOS versions, it's **Settings → YouthStream**.

| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Stream 1080p (High Data Usage) | Streams in 1080p instead of 720p. It uses more mobile data. | Off |
| Record in 4K (High Storage Usage) | Saves the copy on your phone in 4K, if your phone's camera can. The stream is then 1080p. | Off |
| Use Secure Connection (RTMPS) | Sends your stream over a secure connection. Leave it on unless our team asks you to change it. | On |
| Dim Screen While Live | Dims the screen after 2 minutes without a touch while you're live, to save battery and keep the phone cooler. The stream and the recording aren't affected. Tap the screen to brighten it. | On |

Without Record in 4K, the copy saved on your phone is 1080p.
