Your event page shows in the language each guest’s phone or computer is set to, in 30 languages. There’s nothing for you or your guests to set up, and two guests who open the same link can each see the page in their own language. If a guest’s language isn’t on the list, the page shows in English.

## Supported languages

If a guest’s phone lists several languages, the page uses the first one on that list that EventLive supports. A related language never stands in for one we don’t support: a phone set to Belarusian sees English, not Russian, unless Russian is also on its list.

## What’s translated

EventLive’s own text on the pages your guests see, including:

- the event page, and the player you embed on your own website
- the registration, password and ticket screens
- the guestbook and chat
- the video player, its controls and its messages
- the download page, the TV page and error pages

Dates, times and prices are written the way each guest’s language and country write them. Hebrew, Arabic and Persian pages read right to left, though the video player’s timeline still runs left to right.

## What stays as you wrote it

EventLive doesn’t translate your own text. The event title and description, your links and documents, the pinned guestbook message, and the names of rooms and cameras appear exactly as you entered them. If most of your guests speak another language, write these in that language.

The stream’s sound isn’t translated either. Guests who want captions can turn on [their browser’s live captions](https://www.eventlive.pro/help/how-to-use-chrome-or-safari-for-built-in-closed-captioning).

## Show the page in one language

Add `?lang=` and a code from the table to the event link, for example `https://evt.live/your-event?lang=es`. Everyone who opens that link sees the page in that language, whatever their phone is set to, and `?lang=en` always shows English. This helps when everyone you send the link to reads one language, or when a guest asks to see the page in another one.

## Good to know

- Emails EventLive sends your guests, such as invitations and reminders, are in English for now.
- The payment step is Stripe’s own checkout. It shows in the guest’s browser language when Stripe supports it, and otherwise in English.
- Messages guests write in the guestbook or chat appear as they wrote them. Hebrew, Arabic and Persian messages read right to left on any page.
- Icelandic pages write dates and numbers the Danish way (2. juli 2026), because Chrome and most Android browsers can’t format Icelandic dates.
