# Is EventLive Free to Use?

You can try a free test stream before purchasing. A real scheduled event needs a paid event purchase, available credits or an eligible active subscription.

## Try EventLive

Open the [EventLive app](https://eventlive.app.link/get) or [Broadcaster Console](https://broadcaster.eventlive.pro/) and choose **Test Live**. Test the intended device, connection, picture and sound before the real event. A test is separate from a paid scheduled event.

## Publish your event

1. Create it and check the schedule and days.
2. Choose **Publish**.
3. If payment is required, review your account’s price, currency and included options.
4. After purchasing, confirm it is unlocked.

## Guests

Broadcaster purchases differ from viewer tickets. Guests open the host’s event link; it may require an invitation or paid ticket.
