# How To Trim a Livestream Video

EventLive doesn't have a built-in trim tool. To cut the beginning or end of your video, edit a copy and replace the video on your event:

1. Open your event in the [EventLive app](https://eventlive.app.link/get) or the [Broadcaster console](https://broadcaster.eventlive.pro/).
2. Tap **Download & View Stats**, then **Download Video**. You can also use the local recording saved on the phone you streamed from (Photos on iPhone, Gallery on Android). It is higher quality than the download.
3. Trim the video in any video editor, for example Photos or iMovie on iPhone and Mac, Clipchamp on Windows, or Google Photos on Android.
4. Back on your event, tap **Manage Video** → **Replace All Video** and choose the edited file (MOV or MP4, up to 10 GB).
5. Wait for "Converting Video. This may take a few minutes." The edited video then replaces the replay at the same event link.

If the part you want to remove is its own video fragment in **Manage Video** (for example a separate upload), you can open that fragment and delete it with the trash icon instead.
