# How To Stream in 1080p on iPhone

To enable 1080p livestreaming on iPhone, open **iPhone Settings**, find **EventLive** and turn on the 1080p streaming option.

If you cannot find EventLive, use the Settings search or look under Apps. Make sure the EventLive app is installed and up to date.

## Test before the event

Use **Test Live** with the same connection you will use for the event. If the stream buffers or disconnects, use a stronger connection or switch back to 720p. A stable stream is more useful than a higher resolution your connection cannot sustain.

## Local backup quality

The local backup and livestream can use different resolutions. Depending on your settings and device, a backup may be recorded at 1080p or 4K, or a compatible lower-quality option may be used. Check the recording indicator and available storage; a live picture does not prove a backup is being saved.

If you want to use a better local recording afterward, open the event’s **Manage Video** options and choose the appropriate upload or replacement action. Review the action before confirming so you do not replace footage you want to keep.

Run a **Test Live** event to see how many hours of footage your phone can record. Tap that indicator to see how many GB of storage remain. EventLive stops local recording when free storage reaches **1 GB**, leaving space so the phone does not become severely full. Check the local recording indicator separately from the live status.
