# How To Change or Update Your Profile Name

You can update the name in your EventLive profile without creating a new account.

1. Open your profile and select **Update Profile**.
2. Edit your first and last name. Make sure the required first-name field is filled in.
3. Pause briefly and wait for **Saved Automatically** before leaving the page.

There is no separate Save button for these fields. Pressing Back is not a substitute for waiting for the save confirmation.

## If the change is not saved

Check for a field error and your connection, then try again. If it still fails, contact [support@eventlive.pro](mailto:support@eventlive.pro) with your account email. Your profile name is separate from your event title and event link.
