# How To Add a Slideshow or Intro Video to Your Event

You can upload an intro video or a slideshow exported as a video for guests to see before you go live.

1. Create your slideshow in a video editor or presentation tool and export it as a video, such as MP4.
2. Open your event in the app or [Broadcaster Console](https://broadcaster.eventlive.pro/) and choose **Manage Video**.
3. Choose the upload option and select the video. Wait for upload and processing to finish.
4. Open the guest event page to check playback before the event.

Presentation files and a collection of photos do not play automatically as an EventLive slideshow. Export them to a video first. You can separately [attach documents or files to the event page](https://www.eventlive.pro/help/how-to-add-upload-documents-or-files-to-the-event-page).

## When you go live

The live stream takes over the event page from the pre-event video. Do not assume a pre-event intro is automatically included in the final livestream recording. You can use Manage Video afterwards to work with the replay; see [the video management guide](https://www.eventlive.pro/help/how-to-delete-or-remove-an-uploaded-video).

## Add a slideshow after the event

You can also add a slideshow or intro video to the replay after the livestream has finished. Export your slideshow as a video, open **Manage Video**, and choose **Upload to Beginning** to prepend it or **Upload to End** to append it. Select the video, wait for processing and check the updated replay from the guest event page.

## Show slides during the livestream

The EventLive camera app does not insert an uploaded presentation into its live camera feed. You can show a screen to the camera, or use a streaming setup that combines your camera, slides and video before sending the stream to EventLive.
