# Does EventLive support live streaming in 4K?

Use **720p or 1080p** for your EventLive livestream. Do not select 4K as your live encoder output.

- **EventLive on iPhone:** streams at 720p or 1080p, depending on your settings.
- **EventLive on Android:** streams at 720p.
- **Professional cameras and encoders:** set a supported 720p or 1080p output and test with the event’s RTMP details.

## Enable 1080p on iPhone

Open your iPhone’s Settings, find EventLive and enable the 1080p option. See [How To Stream in 1080p on iPhone](https://www.eventlive.pro/help/how-to-stream-in-1080p-on-iphone). Use a stable upload connection and test before the event.

## 4K recording is different from 4K streaming

Some iPhone recording settings can save a higher-resolution local backup while the livestream remains at 1080p or below. Local recording also depends on device support and free storage.

Sending 4K from an external encoder does not guarantee a 1080p result. Choose the recommended live output directly instead.
