Yes. You can stop and resume the same event during its streaming window. Your viewers keep using the same link.

1. Stop the stream in the app or encoder when you need a break.
2. When ready, open the same event and use its go-live option again. In an encoder, reuse the same event’s RTMP URL and key.
3. If switching devices, make sure the first device has stopped before starting the second.

Your streaming window is based on your event’s **scheduled start time and number of event days**. It does not begin again when you first go live or reconnect.

- You can start up to **one hour before** the scheduled start.
- A one-day event accepts new streams until **24 hours after the scheduled start**.
- For a multi-day event, the end of the window is the scheduled start plus the number of days selected. Self-service events support **1–7 consecutive days**.

If you cannot resume, check the schedule, event duration and publication/payment status. If the window has ended or the event needs an adjustment after starting, contact support.
